Time: 20 minutes
Serves: A LOT
Difficulty: 3
Ingredients:
1 package regular Oreos
|
Lots of chocolate, enough to cover all cookies
|
Sprinkles
|
Supplies:
Wax paper
|
Microwavable bowl
|
Spoon
|
Larger spoon
|
Directions:
Melt pieces of chocolate in the microwave in ten second increments. Stir each time. Lay out Oreos on wax paper.
With the smaller spoon, gently pour chocolate onto each cookie, just enough so that it covers the top and sides. Let cool for about a minute or two.
The temperature of the chocolate should be a little over that of the room now. The sprinkles need to stick, but don’t let them melt. Refrigerate for about five minutes until completely cooled, then you can store them either in the fridge or cabinet.
These make great gifts and work with any kind of chocolate, probably even spicy chocolate. (That, by the way, actually exists in our universe and is really good).
Allergy Information: Check labels of ingredients.
